Our Kids Jiu-Jitsu Team made us proud!
This past weekend was one to remember for the EVR1 Kids Jiu-Jitsu Team!
Seventeen of our young athletes stepped onto the mats to compete, challenge themselves, and represent EVR1 with courage, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship. We could not be more proud of every student who participated in this event.
Our team delivered an incredible performance, bringing home a total of 17 medals:
🥇 6 Gold Medals
🥈 6 Silver Medals
🥉 5 Bronze Medals
While we are excited to celebrate these results, the medals are only part of the story. What makes us most proud is the character, resilience, and growth displayed by each athlete throughout the competition. Every match was an opportunity to learn, improve, and gain valuable experience on the competition mats.
At EVR1 Jiu-Jitsu, we believe that youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is about much more than winning medals. Through training and competition, our students develop confidence, discipline, perseverance, respect, and the ability to overcome challenges. This weekend, our kids embodied those values and represented our academy with excellence.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our parents and guardians. Your trust, support, and commitment to our program make moments like these possible. Thank you for spending your weekends with us, encouraging your children, and helping them pursue their goals both on and off the mats. We are grateful to have such an incredible community behind our athletes.
Most importantly, we want to recognize every one of our 17 competitors. Whether you earned a gold medal, stepped onto the podium, or simply had the courage to compete, you achieved something meaningful. Every athlete contributed to the success of our team and represented EVR1 with pride.
To our kids: thank you for your hard work, dedication, and positive attitude. Your coaches are incredibly proud of you, and we are honored to be part of your journey.
